Abstract
The present Decree concerns the medical records that a veterinarian must keep for those medicines that he or she obtains, treated an animal with, prescribed for the treatment of an animal, delivered, and destroyed.
According to Section 4, veterinarians are responsible for keeping a medical record and preserving the medical record as referred to in this Decree. The Decree further lays down provisions on the record keeping of substances with estrogenic, androgenic or progestognenic effects and of medicinal products containing beta-agonists; record keeping of purchase, transfer and destruction of medicines; record keeping of alcohol and drug prescriptions; inspection and preservation of records; etc.
