Government Regulation on Water Management Matters (1560/2011).

This Government Regulation implements provisions of the Water Act of 2011 principally in respect to the conditions and procedures for authorizations under the Act. The Regulation also concerns ditch drainage and some other matters. The Regulation sets out general information that must be included in the application and establishes specific rules for the application for a permit for, among other things, projects involving a water abstraction, projects affecting water conservation zones, water flows, change in water level and hydropower facilities. the Regulation also sets out the procedures for the handling of applications. In addition to what has been laid down in section 1 of Chapter 11, a notification regarding the application shall contain the information specified by this Regulation. Drainage ditching rules concern cultivated soils.
