Hunting Decree (No. 666 of 1993).

This Decree implements provisions of the Hunting Act in respect of, among other things: application for and granting of a hunting licence; use of hunting gear; notification by hunters of matters that occur during hunting; trade in game animals; general and special close seasons; and hunting permits for foreigners. The Decree sets out provisions that must be included in a hunting licence. As for trade in game animals, implementation of Council Regulation (EC) 338/1997 on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora is provided for by section 44 of the Nature Conservation Act (1096/1996).
