Regulation relative to Regional Environment Centres (No. 57 of 1995).

This Regulation provides rules relative to the administration and internal organization of regional environment centres which shall be established pursuant to Act No. 55 of 1995. Regulation 54 of 1995 outlines in general the tasks of such centres which shall include in part tasks previously carried out by other local environment protection agencies. Each of the centres shall draw up for its area a regional environment plan and programme which shall take into account also structural funds of the European Union (sect. 7). Section 8 provides for the administration of matters which concern two or more environment centres. (10 sections)
