Abstract
This Act lays down rules on the registration of brands of stocks, including horse or cattle. The Permanent Secretary for Primary Industries shall be responsible for the registration of brands. This Act sets forth provisions on the stocks to be branded, dimensions of brand and period of registration, list of brands registered to be published monthly and certificates granted, procedure on transfer of stock, cancellation of brands, offences and penalties, and powers of registrar in relation to the seizure and disposing of unbranded stock.
