Fiji National Employment Policy 2018.

Fiji National Employment Policy is a national policy with a cross-sectoral approach. The purpose of this National Employment Policy is to improve the growth and quality of employment in Fiji by diversifying opportunities and coping with the challenges posed by the demographic, socio-economic, political, and technological issues as well as climate change and natural disasters. Skills development will be carried out to create green jobs and diversify employment opportunities in the construction, sustainable agriculture and fisheries, tourism and renewable energy sectors. The Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations holds overall responsibility for implementing and monitoring the National Employment Policy.
