Abstract
These Regulations lay down rules for the membership, meetings and duties of the Great Council of Chiefs. The nomination of members representing the provinces shall be carried out by the Bose Vanua and where applicable, the nomination of female members shall be encouraged. The Council shall be responsible for deliberating, reviewing, formulating and determining issues, policies and laws that relate to the rights, interests, health, welfare, order and governance of the iTaukei people.
