Litter (Amendment) 2010 (No. 21 of 2010).

This Decree amends the Litter Promulgation 2008: in section 2 by adding a definition of "disciplinary officer" and modifying the definition of "receptacle"; in subsection (1) of section by inserting "shall" after "environment"; in section 6 by inserting new subsections (4) and (5), which give power to a litter prevention officer to impose on a person who litters in a public place a duty to carry out instant community work; in section 23 by adding a subsection (5) on procedures in relation with the payment of a fixed penalty; and in section 25 by replacing the word "all" with "certain". Section 5 concerns the Register of Litter Prevention Officers, whereas section 25 concerns application of a fine.
