Local Government Act (Amendment) (No 2) Decree 1988 (No. 37 of 1988).

This Decree amends the Local Government Act in subsection (1) of section 64. That subsection requires every council to cause a general valuation of all such land to be made at least once in every six years for purposes of ascertaining and determining the unimproved value of rateable land. This Decree empowers the Minister to postpone the making of a general valuation beyond the six year period for such period as he or she sees fit.
