Abstract
This Act regulates the registration and sale of pesticides in Fiji. The Register shall contain the names of all pesticides, the name and place of the manufacturer and the name and place of business of the importer (sect. 3). The Director shall be the Registrar of Pesticides and no pesticide may be used, offered for sale or sold in Fiji unless such pesticide has been registered with the Registrar (sect. 4). The Minister may make regulations for the purpose of implementing the provisions of this Act including the prohibition of any pesticide (sect. 11).
