Public Enterprise (Amendment) Act 2002

This Act amends the Public Enterprise Act 1996 in section 7, which sets out the purposes of the reorganisation of the legal framework for public entities. The Act also amends provisions dealing with reappointment of a Board in case a government entity becomes a Re-organisation Enterprise, adoption of draft corporate plan, regulation-making powers of the Public Enterprise Minister in respect of matters for which it is necessary or convenient to make provision to facilitate the transition of a government entity, adoption of statement of corporate intent by Commercial Statutory Authority, and reporting by public enterprises.
