Public Health (Budget Amendment) Act No. 31 of 2018.

This Act the Section 66A to the Principal Act as "The Board may, with the approval of the Minister, make regulations to prescribe matters that are required or permitted by this Part to be prescribed or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Part and generally for achieving the purposes of this Part". Furthermore, this Act adds new sections under Part 17 regarding the transfer of functions and powers of local authorities in rural districts and Board and the power of the Minister to make regulations. Finally, this Act adds new division 6 after Section 121 regarding all schemes for the disposal of nightsoil, collection of garbage or other sanitary services to be approved by Council.
