Abstract
This Decree amends the Trade Standards and Quality Control Decree 1992 in the definition of inspector (sect. 4) and in provisions concerning the power and duty of the Trade Standards and Quality Control Advisory Council to carry out, at the direction of the Minister, investigations and inquiries whether a particular class of goods or services should be prohibited, or whether a class of goods or services should be subject to restrictions or conditions so as to protect the health and well-being of persons, or of any trade practice which seems to be unfair. The Minister may require trade practices to be discontinued on the advice of the Council.
