Abstract
This Act concerns the subdivision of land into units and the establishment of rights relating to such units and provides rules relative to unit titles. The Act also concerns development of land and rights in relation with common property related to the property subdivided into units. Special provisions shall apply to leasehold lands.
The subdivision of land into units shall be effected by the deposit of a plan describing the units in their relation to a building or buildings already erected on the land.

An Act to facilitate the subdivision of land into units to be owned by individual proprietors, and common property to be owned by all the unit proprietors as tenants in common, and for the issue of certificates of title with respect to those units, and to provide for the use and management of the units and common property.
