Chapter 1 of Title 14 of the Yap State Code - Public Service Corporation.

This Chapter provides for the establishment of the Yap State Public Service Corporation and defines its functions, powers and internal organization. The Corporation shall be responsible for the delivery of electrical, water, sewer, and refuse collection and disposal in the State of Yap. It shall supervise the construction, maintenance, operations, and regulation of all utility services but may contract for private businesses to assume its duties with respect to one or more of its divisions. The Board of the Corporation may establish utility rates and other fees for supply of water, sewerage, refuse collection and supply electrical power in accordance with provisions of this Chapter.
