Chapter 2 of Title 39 of the Pohnpei State - Consumer Protection Act.

This Act makes provision for the protection of consumers in the State of Pohnpei. It prohibits various acts and practices that may harm consumer interests or competition, including the making of false statements regarding goods or services that are of a particular standard, quality or grade and using deceptive representations or designations of geographic origin in connection with goods or services. The Act makes provision for actions against illegal behaviour by the Attorney-General and for private and class actions.
