Chapter 2 of Title 57 of the Trust Territory Code - Land Registration.

This Chapter makes provision for the survey and registration of land in the Trust Territory and provides that for this purpose there shall be a land commission in each administrative district of the Trust Territory. Each commission shall supervise surveys and proceed with the registration of as much of the land as practical within such registration areas within its district as it determines and may determine the ownership of any land in its district. Each commission shall appoint land registration teams and designate registration areas. The Chapter also provides for the settlement of claims regarding title in land.
