Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 (S.R. No. 59 of 2007).

These Regulations amend the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 so as to give effect to the current European Union ban on the import of captive birds from outside the European Union. The ban is provided for in Community legislation under Commission Decision 2005/760/EC concerning certain protection measures in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza in certain third countries for the import of captive birds.
