Abstract
These Regulations implement in Scotland Article 1 of Commission Decision 2002/242/EC amending for the ninth time Decision 2001/327/EC concerning restrictions to the movement of animals of susceptible species with regard to foot-and-mouth disease, to continue the effect of the restrictions contained in Decision 2001/327/EC. They implement in Scotland Article 4 of Commission Decision 2002/153/EC concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom, repealing Commission Decision 2001/740/EC and amending for the eighth time Decision 2001/327/EC, in relation to Article 2a of Commission Decision 2001/327/EC on movements through staging points.
