Animals (Records) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 (S.R. No. 344 of 2000).

This Order amends the principal Order of 1997 which implements the record keeping requirements in respect of sheep of Council Directive 92/102/EEC on the identification and registration of animals by: (a) requiring the owner or person in charge of sheep to record, on or before 31st January in each year, particulars of sheep owned by him or in his charge on 1st January of that year; (b) replacing Schedule 3 (flock record for sheep) with a new Schedule setting out a new format for the recording of sheep. Article 3 contains a transitional provision.
