Abstract
This Order specifies, for the purposes of Chapter 3 of Part 1 of the Aquaculture and Fisheries (Scotland) Act 2013, Mytilus trossulus as a commercially damaging species, i.e. a species that, if not controlled, would be likely to have a significant adverse impact on the economic or commercial interests of a person who carries on a business of fish farming or shellfish farming. Failure to notify the presence of a commercially damaging species in accordance with section 15(1) or (2) of the Act is an offence.
