Abstract
These Regulations consolidate, with amendments, the Feeding Stuffs Regulations 1991. They apply to feeding stuffs for livestock animals, farmed fish and pet animals, as specified in regulation 3. The Regulations: (a) control the labelling or marking of pre-mixtures of additives (9); (b) provide for packaging and sealing (12); (c) provide for names for the purposes of section 70 of the Agriculture Act; (d) regulate and restrict the marketing of feeding stuffs containing additives or other certain other substances (14, 15 and 16); (e) make special provision for iron content in milk replacer feeds (17); (f) provide for inspection (22).
