Abstract
This Scheme makes provision for funding by the Scottish Ministers of installation of satellite-tracking devices on Scottish fishing boats of a specified length which are required on board fishing boats by Council Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 establishing a Community control system for ensuring compliance with the rules of the common fisheries policy. It also provides a mechanism for a review of a decision of the Scottish Ministers to reject an application made under this Scheme and provides for inspections.
