Food (Figs, Hazelnuts and Pistachios from Turkey) (Emergency Control) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2002 (S.I. No. 1726 (W. 161) of 2002).

These Regulations, which extend to Wales only, amend the principal Regulations which implement Commission Decision 2002/80/EC imposing special conditions on the import of figs, hazelnuts and pistachios and certain products derived thereof originating in or consigned from, Turkey as amended by Commission Decision 2002/233/EC. The categories of products which are subject to those conditions are specified in Article 1.1 of Decision 2002/80/EC. The Regulations amend regulation 3 of the principal Regulations to clarify that the two conditions the fulfilment of which is necessary in order that a person may legally import into Wales any controlled Turkish products, are cumulative.
