Abstract
These Regulations amend the Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations 2006 to implement Commission Regulation (EU) No. 216/2014 amending Regulation (EC) No. 2075/2005 laying down specific rules on official controls for Trichinella in meat and Commission Regulation (EU) No. 218/2014. They revoke regulation 32A (special health mark) and Schedule 6A (the special health mark). Commission Regulation (EU) No. 218/2014 removes the requirement for a special health mark and the restriction to the national market for emergency slaughter meat.
