Abstract
These Regulations amend the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Regulations 2012 so as to implement Regulation No 421/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2003/87/EC establishing a scheme for greenhouse gas allowance trading with the Community. The EU Regulation provides for a temporary derogation from the obligation to monitor and report emissions and to surrender allowances in respect of specified flights.
