Abstract
These Regulations specify the criteria which an organization or association must satisfy in order to become recognized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for the purpose of maintaining a stud book. The Regulations specify the circumstances in which a recognized organization must enter a horse in the main section of its stud book and permit a recognized organization to divide the main section of its stud book into different classes according to the horses' merits, but prohibits it from doing so for other purposes.
