Abstract
These Regulations amend the Meat Products (England) Regulations 2003 in regulation 5 so as to remove the requirement that, where meat products of a specified appearance are sold, the name used as the name of the food in the labelling of the products must include an indication of any starch or protein added for other than a technological purpose only. Consequentially, Schedule 3 regarding added ingredients which are not required to be indicated in the name of the food in the case of a meat product to which regulation 5 applies, is amended.
