Northumbrian Water and Essex and Suffolk Water (Amendment of Local Enactments, etc.) Order 2000 (S.I. No. 969 of 2000).

Any reference to Essex and Suffolk, or to the undertaking of Essex and Suffolk, in any local statutory provision and in any charges scheme made by Essex and Suffolk under section 76 of the Water Act 1989 or section 143 of the Water Industry Act 1991 shall have effect, subject to paragraph (2), as a reference to Northumbrian or, as the case may be, to the undertaking of Northumbrian. This only applies to any local statutory provision or charges scheme in relation to the area, things or persons in relation to which or whom that provision or scheme has effect before 1st April 2000.
