Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Handling (Designated Technical Matters) Order 2010 (S.I. No. 2850 of 2010).

This Order, for purposes of section 45 of the Energy Act, 2008, specifies technical matters that must be included in a funded nuclear decommissioning programme to be submitted to the Secretary of State under section 45(6)(a) of the Act. The technical matters are: construction and maintenance of a store which is used for the storage of intermediate level waste or spent fuel from a nuclear installation; and any activity preparatory to the decommissioning of a relevant nuclear installation and the cleaning up of the site.
