Organic Products (Amendment) Regulations 2015 (S.I. No. 1669 of 2015).

These Regulations amend the Organic Products Regulations 2009 in regulation 5 (on permitted exceptions to the organic production rule) and by inserting regulation 32A on review of these Regulations by the Secretary of State. In regulation 5 certain delegations to control bodies are removed. It continues to allow control bodies to permit the use of non-organic seed and seed potatoes in accordance with Article 45 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control.
