The Ozone-Depleting Substances (Grant of Halon Derogations) Regulations 2023 (S.I. 2023 No. 336).

These Regulations make specific derogations from the current arrangements relating to critical uses of a controlled substance, halon 1211, in Regulation (EC) 1005/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16th September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer (recast) (“the Ozone-Depleting Substances Regulation”). The specific derogations provided for relate to relevant applications in the Airseeker Rivet Joint (RJ) RC-135W aircraft only.
