Abstract
The Act is organized in 3 Parts: Part I concerns domestic law, Part II Provisions about International Conventions, and Part III Miscellaneous. Under Part I regulates patentable inventions and clarify what is a novelty, inventive step, form of industrial application, methods of treatment or diagnosis, priority date, etc. It then continues regulating the right to apply for and obtain a patent and be mentioned as inventor, the application and examination process, publication and certificate of grant, term of patent, registration, licenses of rights and compulsory licenses, infringement, etc. Part II clarifies the application in GB of European Patent system, the effects of international application for patent, etc.
