Abstract
This Order requires a person keeping pigs on a holding to notify the Secretary of State, requires records to be kept and requires pigs to be marked with ear tags or tattoos. The Order specifies what these identification marks must contain, provides rules for removal and replacement of marks and deals with documentation necessary when pigs are moved. The Order allows the Secretary of State to exempt some movements from the requirements of the Disease Control (England) Order 2003.
