Abstract
These Regulations make amendments to legislation in the field of plant variety rights. Part 2 and the Schedule revoke several retained EU law, in particular Council Regulation 2100/94) and some of the domestic legislation in the field. Part 3 makes provision in relation to existing EU rights intended as Community Plant Variety Right (CPVR), intellectual property rights for new varieties of plants in the EU which have effect in the UK. Part 4 regulates the treatment of applications for Community Plant Variety Rights which are unresolved when these Regulations come into force. Part 5 makes amendments to primary and secondary legislation in the field of plant variety rights and to the EEA agreement.
