Plant Health (Northern Ireland) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 (S.R. No. 621 of 2019).

These Regulations make substantial amendments to the Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 2018 to transpose certain provisions in Council Directives dealing with diseases affecting potatoes. The amendments to the Order concern, among other things, official investigations and surveys, official recording, official designation of contaminated material, controls on potatoes for industrial processing or grading, measures to be taken following the confirmation of the presence of Potato ring rot, and measures to be taken following confirmation of the presence of Potato brown rot.
