Plant Health (Wood Packaging Material Marking) (Forestry) Order 2006 (S.I. No. 2695 of 2006).

This Order implements an International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures on Guidelines for regulating wood packaging material in international trade, prepared by the Secretariat of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) of FAO. The Order prohibits non-authorized use of marks and provides procedures for applications for certificates and renewal of certificates. It also grants powers to inspectors.
