Plastic Materials and Articles in Contact with Food (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 (S.R. No. 271 of 2008).

These Regulations provide for the execution and enforcement in Northern Ireland of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 597/2008 amending Commission Regulation (EC) No. 372/2007 laying down transitional migration limits for plasticisers in gaskets in lids intended to come into contact with foods in relation with the relevant deadline for such materials and articles. They amend regulation 21(3) of the principal Regulations and omit regulation 27(c) of those Regulations. They also correct four errors in the principal Regulations, make consequential amendments and amend to the Food Safety (Sampling and Qualifications) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1991.
