Abstract
These Regulations supplement Part VIA (quality of water) of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980 and provide rules for private water supply services in Scotland other than Scottish Water and provide for control on supply by private suppliers by the Scottish Ministers. The Regulations provide, among other things, for classification, monitoring and sampling of private water supplies.
