Abstract
This Order prohibits the keeping in England and Wales of any species of crayfish other than native species specified, except under authority of a licence granted by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. An exception for a specified species of crayfish is made if kept in parts of England and Wales specified in the Schedule to the Order. Section 3 of the Act declares keeping of non-native crayfish without a valid licence or contrary to terms of a licence to be an offence. (2 articles and a Schedule)
