Renewables Obligation (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014 (S.R. No. 146 of 2014).

This Order amends the Renewables Obligation Order (Northern Ireland) 2009 by, among other things: inserting definitions for “ISAE 3000” and “municipal waste”; widens the types of biomass to which article 46 of the principal order (on the duty to provide information) applies; modifies the circumstances in which the default value method can be used to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions from the use of biomass; requires a sustainability audit report to be provided to the Authority in respect of the information submitted by the operator of a generating station. It also inserts a new article on solid and gaseous biomass sustainability audit report for specified generating stations and amends Schedule A2 (inserted by S.R. 2011 No. 169) on land criteria.
