Spring Traps Approval Order (Northern Ireland) 2012 (S.R. No. 25 of 2012).

This Order specifies approved traps in column (1) of the Schedule and approves those which are equivalent in all respects to those so listed. Conditions attached to the approval of each type of trap are specified in column (2) of the Schedule. Under Article 12A of the Wildlife (Northern Ireland) Order 1985 it is an offence to use or permit the use of, for the purpose of killing or taking animals, any spring trap other than an approved trap, to have such trap in possession or to use an approved trap for purposes other than for which it was approved.
