Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 336 of 2013).

These Regulations amend the Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (England) Regulations 2010 so as to introduce a new regulation 15A, which provides for the procedures of the service of notices required to be served under the principal Regulations. The Regulations also amend Schedules 2, 3, 4 and 6. Minor corrections are made to Schedules 2 and 6. In Schedule 3, paragraph 9 (concerning the amount of compensation payable) is substituted so that the compensation payable to the keeper of animals killed under the principal Regulations is based upon sale price data for animal categories. Schedule 4 to the principal Regulations is amended to take account of amendments to Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules for the prevention, control and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies.
