Volatile Organic Compounds in Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refinishing Products (Amendment) Regulations 2010 (S.I. No. 783 of 2010).

These Regulations amend the Volatile Organic Compounds in Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refinishing Products Regulations 2005 so as to implement amendments to Directive 2004/42 made by Directive 2008/112/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on adaptation to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. The aim of Directive 2008/112/EC is to incorporate into Community legislation, criteria for the classification and labelling of substances and mixtures provided for by the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals.
