Waste Information (Scotland) Regulations 2010 (S.S.I. No. 435 of 2010).

These Regulations concern a request as made by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency to any person having control or management of an undertaking for information on, among other things, the nature of any activities of the undertaking in relation to which the request is made, which involve the production or management of waste descriptions of the types of waste produced by or managed in the course of such an activity. Reference may be made to the European Waste Catalogue code. Failure to comply with a waste information request is an offence. The information obtained through the making of waste information requests will assist in compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 2150/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council on waste statistics.
