Abstract
These Regulations, made under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, amend Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006, the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009, and the Water Environment (Floods Directive) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.
