Abstract
These Regulations declare an area known as Levara beach to be a closed area during the period from 1 April to 31 August annually, empowers the Minister to put in place specific management measures in relation to the closed area and specifies activities that shall be prohibited in the closed area during the period specified. These activities include: turtle watching except with a permit issued by the Chief Fisheries Officer for a prescribed fee; access to the area, except by fisheries officers or persons engaged in scientific research, or fishing activities, who are in possession of a special pass or permit issued by the Chief Fisheries Officer or by a fisheries officer.
