Praedial Larceny (Amendment) Act No. 6 of 2020.

This Act inserts new sections after Section 2 regarding the establishment and functions of the Praedial Larceny Management Unit; appointment and responsibilities of the Praedial Larceny Management Committee; mandatory licensing for the trade or business of buying, selling, exporting, conveying or otherwise dealing in specially protected produce of the weight of fifteen pounds and more; licenses for traders, travellers and carriers, application and determination procedures and renewal, suspension, revocation and cancellation of licenses; and appeals to the High Court. Section 6 regarding dishonestly receiving and disposing of praedial produce, is amended. After Section 10, new sections are inserted regarding forfeiture and sale after conviction, restitution, and sale or disposal of and compensation for perishable agricultural produce. This Act adds Schedule II on specially protected produce and Schedule III on constitution of the Praedial Larceny Management Unit and the Praedial Larceny Management Committee, annexed to this Act.
