Public Health (Amendment) Act No. 14 of 2021.

This Act adds the definition of “environmental health warden” to Section 2 of the Principal Act. This Act makes amendments in the Principal Act, in Section 4 regarding the regulation of environmental health wardens by the Sanitary Authority, Section 60 regarding the power of Ministry to make regulations for offences and penalties, and Section 78 regarding general penalties for the offences against this Act or Regulations made under this Act for which no penalty is specifically provided. Sections 78A and 78B on penalty and fixed penalty notice are inserted to the Principal Act.
