Action Plan for 2012-2014 for the Implementation of the State Strategy for Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees from the Occupied Territories of Georgia

The Action Plan for 2012-2014 for the Implementation of the State Strategy for Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees from the Occupied Territories of Georgia is a national cross-sectoral action plan. Its main objectives are to provide a long-term solution of housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs); reduce their dependence on the state; integrate the vulnerable IDPs into the state social programs, until they are returned to their homes. Among others, the document provides for rehabilitation of infrastructure; ensuring the access to healthcare; targeted social assistance programs; psychological assistance; providing education opportunities; and supporting employment and subsistence minimum while protecting the gender equality.
